Figlio Wood Fired Pizza

Love this place. The food is always amazing. Had the Tuscan scallop and shrimp pasta, so wonderful. The smell is what got me ordering it, and the scallops were perfect. The taste will keep me coming back. We also had the chicken and mushroom ravioli and the grilled salmon- all so good. The sauces are savory and pair well with the bread- which was fresh and great in its own right. The salad special with pickled onion and pear is well worth the try. The wine special, Juan Gil Spanish Red Blend, 2019 is worth more than a try. They aren't kidding that it is worth a feature. We've had the woodfired pizza before and it does not disappoint. The bar service and cocktails have been spot on. This is my new comfort food place.

I've been here and had the pizza and loved it. So when I looked at the menu online and saw pistachio chicken I was excited to head in and try it. It wasn't on the menu, but they had what is probably my all-time favorite dish, chicken picatta. It was edible but bland. The linguine tasted like tap water so to counter that I asked for lemons to counter it. The picatta sauce just tasted like butter. The dish could at minimum use salt and pepper. Personally, I'd also add garlic and a touch of the caper brine. All in all, I'd stick with the pizza

This place was very good and far better than its rating (4.4 at the time of this writing) would even suggest. Had the figlio Manhattan which was very good, and then we got the margherita plus plus pizza and the wild mushroom pizza which were both amazing. The bread and oil which they do beforehand was extremely good as well. And at the end of it all the price was extremely reasonable. Would love to return sometime.
