Came here yesterday for the first time for brunch. I was greeted by a beautiful decor that was reminiscent of a small cafe in Italy. It was modern, quaint, and welcoming. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. No request was too big or small and they handled themselves with courtesy and professionalism. I had the southern fried chicken and waffles. I never thought these two items would go together, but I was pleasantly surprised. The meal was delicious and the chicken breast was soft, tender, and juicy. They made me an excellent cappuccino too. I definitely recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back.
I am stuck, I would love to give this place a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star review but also a 1,2 & 3 stars. So I opt to stay in the middle somewhere at four stars and here’s why: we heard of this place and decided to come out and see what it’s all about. As we arrived we were quickly seated by a young host adjacent to the bar. Within two minutes of our seating we were greeted by our young waiter who took our drink order, and within about five minutes after that we were given a breadbasket with what looked like a delicious sesame crusted Italian bread and butter on the side. The sesame crusted bread exterior was delicious but the bread itself was stale and cold in the core the butter was perfectly salted. Our drinks came out pretty quick. We went ahead and ordered stuffed portobello mushrooms and two types of salads along with a rosemary and butter crusted aged steak to share. The restaurant at around 7 PM filled up pretty quickly for dinner which is nice to see on a Wednesday evening. We received
One of the best places on Staten Island to eat! The quality of food is impeccable and service is amazing. This is the place to go to for a romantic dinner, or even a brunch with the girls. Highly recommend!
