Felix's BBQ is a wonderful place from the service to the food. I had been to this location on a previous visit to Oceanside and I was eager to try the delicious chitterlings again. However, this trip they were already sold out. I had the chicken and waffles, and the other guests had the oxtails and the brisket plate. Everyone enjoyed their food and the appetizers of fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Sweet potato pie was for dessert and beautifully presented. Next time I will show up earlier before the chitterlings run out.

Felix is a local favorite of my family, my girlfriends and church members. Felix and his staff are very nice. The restaurant is relaxing and outdoor seating is available. If something isn’t right, they will make it right ????. I usually go for catfish nuggets and Mac n Cheese but this day I went outside my usual and tried the LOUISIANA CAJUN PASTA and OMG!!! I ordered it over mashed potatoes and it was delicious ????. It also comes with garlic bread. Dip that bread into that sauce AND BABY (yum, yum, yum)! Perfect seasoning, smooth and comforting to the soul. Ideal for a cool night (especially with the rain storms we just had). It consist of Fresh Peppers, Onions, Andouille Sausage, Shrimp, Diced Chicken, Served With A Reduction of Alfredo Sauce, and a Sprinkle Of Felix Special Homemade Spice. Can’t go wrong ordering this awesome meal, add a sweet tea to seal the meal ☺️. Thank you Felix Team of Oceanside ????????
