Fat Ernie's Cheesesteaks & Hershey's Ice Cream Parlor

Just happened to drive by this place on the way to Staples. Cheesesteak was very good, the steak tasted like it was quality cut. The sidewinder fries were very crispy and had some nice simple seasoning. It's not the cheapest lunch but the portions are very large. I got the medium and I was struggling to finish it. The service was fast and friendly. Next time I'll have my car washed next door so I can take advantage of the discount haha.

This is a place for an excellent bite and delicious food! We had the spicy cheese steak (with jalapenos and onion rings) with a side of sidewinder fries. The meat on the sandwich is flavorful and is of superb quality. The sidewinder fries are fantastic. They're somewhat of a thicker version of curly fries. Not pictured is the milkshake but I assure you it was a darn good milkshake. I'll definitely be returning to this spot!

Great cheese steak place, big sandwich that's a meal in itself. Also serves good selection of Hersey's ice cream, shakes, sundaes etc. Been coming here over a year. They're open during covid-19 quarantine with a pickup window. I've tried the chicken and the steak, both are good but go with the steak. Gotta get it with da Whiz. Also try Krave It sandwich and pizza shop in Bayside, a quick blast down the Cross Island to northern Blvd. Both are great places, Ernie's sandwich is basic but bigger, Krave little smaller but with eccentric options and you can grab a slice of dessert pizza. Depends on your mood.
