The food was awesome! It was my first time to eat here at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que and I love it. I ordered their 4 bones spareribs it comes with two sides of your choice i got mashed potatoes and the broccoli, and 1 muffin. My husband and I was very much surprised about their broccoli it is fresh and not mushy at all like the other restaurants usually serves you. If you love barbecue like I do, then this is the place for you to go for. So what are you waiting, come and give it a try. Eat like a pig.
The two stars is for the cornbread. Everything else was horrible. We ordered delivery through Postmates, and the food seemed to get to us pretty quick! Unfortunately, when it got here, everything was ice cold. We got a half rack of ribs, two individual sides (broccoli and mashed potatoes), and 2 cornbread muffins for about $30 before delivery fees. Let's go through everything one by one. The St Louis Ribs: dry, chewy, barely any meat on the bones. Super disappointing. Tasted like it had been left out for an hour. From my wife: "tasted like eating beef jerky off the bone" Broccoli: tiny portion, smaller than my fist, for $3 I think? Broccoli was overcooked, brown, and floppy. Mashed Red Skin Potatoes: Same tiny portion. Clearly had been sat out cold for a while because the pat of butter that had been put on top by the restaurant didn't melt even a little! Cornbread: The only saving grace, moist and delicious. Wish we had ordered more because I am still starving! I don't know what happen
It was my 1st visit and I talked myself into a burger. It was their biggest & best with pulled pork & bacon! It was one of the best burgers that I ever had!! I will be back for some Bar-B-Q soon.
