We simply loved it Disclaimer - we've sat at the bar with a super friendly and professional bartender named Antanas who made the entire evening so much more entertaining ???? If you're a big meat lover and your dinner has to be centered around a big piece of steak or poultry, then go someplace else. However, if you appreciate vegetables, their freshness and would like to experience them in new amazing delicious ways - do not miss out on Blue Hill! You're being served a 4 course meal which is imaginative and tastes amazing from start to finish. Of course, some dishes are better than others but they were all excellent. Compared to other fine dining, it feels like the portions are slightly larger and the cost more reasonable. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary so going for a nice piece of steak (that would have cost us half) wouldn't have been as special as visiting Blue Hill. It's been 10 years since I first visited Blue Hill, and once again they did not disappoint! I really like their change to "family meal" from strictly fine dining. The service was warm and welcoming, even sitting at the bar felt like I was hanging out with friends. The food was plentiful and delicious - I love that they continue to try new things out when it comes to the types of produce they use, and the preparation of that food. The staff were always there when needed without feeling like they were hovering. They were also accommodating to my food restriction, even though it isn't a common one. I look forward to the next time I am able to visit, and I will highly recommend any one with the means to pay them a visit!
$150/person pre-fixed 4 courses dinner. Each course comes with many dishes. I love the dessert, carrot & steak, and the bread. All dishes are good but not special enough to visit again. The whole dining experience is about 2-2.5 hours. Some dishes are the same with blue hill stone barns, like the dessert.
