Express Bowl (Baton Rouge)

Food is good but as of recently their chef during lunch time doesn’t wear a mask. I came here thinking they were clean and sanitary but knowing that they don’t wear masks is concerning to me. Especially given the governors mandate requiring them to wear masks. Also, their new chef doesn’t cook the chicken all the way. Came again to give it another try (1/13/21) - once again, staff not wearing masks; food isn’t seasoned today; no soy packets included; chicken and vegetables not cooked all the way. I used to come here at least 1-2 times a week before this new cook started. Now the food quality at lunch time has gone completely downhill. Will definitely not be returning so long as that new cook is still there.

The worse customer service I have experienced in a while! I visited this store around 5pm yesterday and the Asian guy who seemed to be the manager was completely rude! I asked for my meal to be spicy and cooked well done, I made the request known to the cashier and manager/cook. However, he did not cook my food well done, in fact he refused to leave it on there past the normal time. I was shocked and frustrated that he was refusing to cook my food the way I preferred. So I asked to get a refund and he proceeded to give me a hard time! I will not be returning!

Any other time express bowl is great but today was a different story. Today, I receive less portions of what I asked for but worst of all is that my broccoli, shrimp and my chicken was half cooked. Ik it was the cook because any other time the food is great.
