Everest Cafe

Was super thrilled to try out Everest Cafe for their Nepali cuisine. Milwaukee area has one well established Nepali restaurant that I am aware of and that is located in Mequon so it was good to see something closer Bayshore, Glendale area and make it easily accessible to the folks in downtown. Located within Royal Garden Asian Restaurant, Everest Cafe offers some authentic Nepali items like Momos, chicken curry, Vegetable curry, Samosas and Pakoras. We have ordered Samosas several times from here and monos a couple times. The chutney that comes with momos is pretty good. The momo skin is a bit thicker than my preference but overall does a good job of attending to my cravings. It’s priced well too. It’s new in town, give it a try. I can’t wait to try the chicken curry and the veg pakora next.

Bad food, Chicken was steamed only with pouring some hot water without any taste. Not a Nepali food at all.

The food at Everest Cafe is delicious and comforting. The pakora and samosa were fried to perfection and served with an amazing sweet yet sour sauce. The momo dumplings were also delicious. I recommend getting a sampler platter to be able to try more than one dish - you won't regret it.
