Walked pass and decided to give this place a try. I say this with love in hopes that things can be prepared and made better for there success. The Mac & cheese had no cheese, milk, butter or seasoning. Literally tasted like just boiled noodles. The shrimp burger is a frozen pattie that tasted like plastic in an over sized bun, that was tossed into the garbage after my first bite. It may be better for you take purchase real shrimp and grind them up than to keep purchasing those horrible Pattie’s.
The fried potatoes did not taste bad and the wings were okay . I feel like I’ll come back for something that would wow me . The mango lemonade drink tasted good too.
I got here AT LEAST once a week (so often that I can just say “I’ll take my usual” and they know exactly what I mean). The service is great and my food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Grateful to have a soul food spot right in my neighborhood with good portions, decent pricing, and a frequently updated menu! PS: the mango lemonade goes great with vodka (or your choice of alcohol)!
