y'alll, the food was so flavorful, the service is so friendly, and this was my first time getting birria and i was not disappointed. would definitely come again:)

I was curious to see how Mexican food measures up in New York City, given how absent it is from the cuisine where I live (DC). Well, this place certainly delivered. I ordered a burrito; it took about 10-15 min for the food to come out so it was certainly made with love : ) My burrito was delish with rice and veggies, and a hearty size. I was disappointed they didn’t include a plant-based proteins, but what I questioned him about the lack of beans, they realized for the steak and quickly corrected it with a side of beans, which was nice. And delicious! They did have vegan cheese on the menu, and I wish they were better able to incorporate it into the burrito. The space inside looks like it’s about 10 to 15 people, with a few tables outside as well. It’s a fun vibe with string lights, the Aztec calendar hanging on the wall, and loud music (don’t bring anybody who is soft spoken). However, one of the highlights was how friendly the staff were. It was a family joint and they exuded warmth.
