If you are visiting Mission St, I recommend it, come and taste the delicious dishes that they offer. Excellent service, friendliness and they speak Spanish. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More

A long overdue review! Esperpento is one of our favorite restaurants in SF. The food is consistently delicious, well prepared and affordable priced. Pictured is the seafood paella, but we regularly get the Patatas bravas, fried calamari, croquetas de bacalao, gambas al ajillo, carne asada, grilled salmon and more. They have happy hour daily and their Sangria is better than most brunches across SF.

Great spot, reminded us of Spain. Lots of gluten free options. I had stopped at the ferry building and bought a Mariposa baguette and was able to dip my bread in the delicious garlic butter from my gambas. The patatas bravas were the best we've had outside of Spain. Need to come back to try their Paella. If you are GF bring a baguette, lots of menu choices and they were knowledgeable. Well-priced too.
