Escargot Bistro

Our first visit to Escargot Bistro was perfect, the owner greeted us and made us feel welcomed to his intimate and warm space. While small, Escargot Bistro is charming and typically French, not flashy or ostentatious but the food stands out. Our Belgian friend joined us and loved the mussels, my wife, who lived in France for a year, ordered escargot which she claimed was the best she had in South Florida. I enjoyed the Crepes Jardin which was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

I almost never leave reviews from restaurants unless something really bad happened. However, this hidden gem in E Commerce deserves an absolute 5-stars. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked. Ordered the soup and fish of the day... that was perfection. The chocolate crepe was amazing... I'm looking forward to coming back to FLL to get back at Escargot.

We went for my wife's birthday. I'm gluten free and she has a latex allergy. The owner and chef are also the wait staff. Small, cozy restaurant that's by reservation only. The chef encouraged me to try the soup of the day, it was an orange carrot soup. It was fantastic! I will definitely be back. There were a few missteps, (forgetting we ordered espresso...) but this is a small business with great customer service and superb food. Dietary restrictions: Website has gluten free and vegetarian options marked. The chef and owner were knowledgeable and made choosing my courses easy.
