Joe with warm and friendly hospitality recommended the The Hatch Brisket Enchiladas inspired by the household family recipe that he made with his grandfather… They are quite yummy. The brisket is tender and juicy. The salsa is fresh and medium heat. The rice is freshly made hourly. The beans are a flavorful side. 5 stars for sure!
The brisket enchiladas with the hatch chili sauce were UNREAL! Lots of smoke in the meat and the spice from the sauce provided the perfect balance. Best beans I’ve ever had - and I don’t get excited about beans. I cannot wait to go back. Get the brisket enchiladas! I got one in a combo and while the other was also great, I should have done double brisket. This place rocks. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Bloody Mary was killer, too!
We ordered the brisket nachos to get a feel for the place. Their chips are excellent, and the cheese and meat made a perfect combo. We wanted to drink the salsa...but managed to stick to drinking the Diet Coke. We then moved on to the enchiladas, and the chicken was some of the best I've had. I eventually want to try all of their sauces, but my wife loved the verde. I had the sour cream sauce, and it was good. I've had better sour cream sauce before, but not by much. My son was too full from eating chips and salsa to eat his quesadillas, but they look good.
