Visited Elvira's grill in November 22nd 2021. I had a wonderful time. I had to Chile Verde which is basically pork with green sauce over it and rice and beans. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely enjoyed my lunch here. Irma was our waitress and she was exceptional. She was very attentive and she made us smile a lot. He was a great experience overall and I got to say I will definitely come back and visit someday. But for now I will enjoy my lunch my beer and my tequila shot. Thank you for a wonderful time I recommend anyone who is hungry for Mexican food to come and visit Elvira's grill in Claremont California.
Great holiday lunch with friends. Excellent service, delicious food in a festive atmosphere. Had Elviras Specialty Shrimp salad. Generous portion of grilled shrimp on a bed of Romaine with cheese, pepita seeds and homemade dressing.
My first time with my husband and son. Loved how when you enter through the front you do not expect how the restaurant would look inside, i absolutely loved it and i can't wait to go back at night. Parking: Easy during the week Customer service: was empty once you enter, there were two employees were at the bar and a server did not greet us whatsoever. Me not knowing where to go asked where to check in and then was noticed. Disappointed ???? Walked to the back, again not welcomed or acknowledged or helped. The employees seemed nice, we sat down not a lot of people but the atmosphere of the location seemed really nice. Food: my husband ordered the mole enchiladas, sadly it was extremely sweet and i tried it and was disgusted by it But he was hungry and ate it all and we also don't like leaving food on a plate. And we do ñet them know how our experience was when they ask. I ordered the chkn and steak fajitas, the chkn looked like it was frozen chkn and then grilled and the steak was real
