El Zócalo

I have to say it’s pretty shifty of this place first of all to just change their name on google here so they could keep their reviews regardless of the fact that they completely changed their menu and name. The business is called “Zócalo” at the moment but was “The Spot” before. Funny enough, the receipt still says “The Spot” lol! The place could use a remodel it looks like. And as for the decor it’s just some cheap dollar store banners that may have been Hispanic but otherwise nothing else in the restaurant would have told you it was a Mexican restaurant. Food was served quickly and the server was friendly enough but that said, the food isn’t great. The food was just kinda… there. Not very flavorful. Don’t bother with this place, they appear to be just trying to bank on Mexican since it’s kinda popular in the area. There’s a lot better places to go! Don’t waste the time.

YUMMM. Loved the food and all the employees were so nice!! Definitely will be back. The tortas were amazing. Worth it!

The food was alright but the service was excellent. I had corned beef hash,eggs and hash browns...hash seemed overcooked. My sil had a breakfast sandwich that was huge. She enjoyed it with the fresh fruit. My bro had a omelet that he said was good. Like I said the service we had was excellent and I will go back to try something different next time.
