Great food and love the ambience of this restaurant. They have open-kitchen and you can literally see how your food is being prepared. It is our to-go place whenever we decide to do Mexican in Cincinnati/Mason Area.
Our first visit at El Trompo was fantastic. Best Mexican food we’ve had in Ohio. Both the chicken and the steak fajitas were out of this world, hearty portion of big slices of meat, and the peppers had a wonderful smoky char. Refried beans, guacamole, and salsa were all standouts, and the house margarita also very tasty. Friendly service. We will be back many times.
Bright lively atmosphere. Music playing, tvs and great staff. Food was really good. Not your traditional Mexican restaurant. Vegetarian options: One page full of vegetarian options.
