The appetizer was perfect and that's where I should have stopped. I ordered 5 different tacos and 2 of each to share. The pork rind tacos were perfect, tripas were dry, lengua was tough and overcooked, asada meat would have been better if it was made to order, the pollo was boiled with seasoning. The corn tortillas were perfect for tacos, the margarita I ordered was great, service was great, just the tacos needed more attention. Price wise at $2.25 each with fresh corn tortillas is a great deal. I went around 7pm on Wednesday, Nov 2nd it didn't seem busy. Overall, I will go here again, and try one of their signature dishes. Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant.
We went to the grocery side and got a bunch of pan dulces and pork and chicken tamales. Many Selections of pan( sweet bread) and the tamales were delicious. They had a great variety of dried chilis and authentic Mexican candies and lots more!
My family and I are so happy to have found this place. It’s authentic and delicious! The food is always fresh and the waiters are super nice. On the weekends they have mariachi that will play whatever you request, we got them to play “un poco loco” and my daughter was so happy! I definitely recommend it.
