Yum. This was the first time eating at El Sombrero off Saginaw main. The service was great and very friendly. The portions are huge and so delicious. Can you say Cheesy? We ordered the Chicken Flautas which were crispy and seasoned just right. The chimichanga was the size of my hand which aren’t small at all. And you know what they say about large hands… you can use them as a ruler for size comparisons. The enchiladas were phenomenal but a little on the greasy side. Overall, great lunch that left us with some left overs.
This place is pretty good in terms of wait time. The food was okay, but not extremely memorable. The waiter was nice and took our orders/brought our orders to us very fast. This is a good Mexican restaurant to stop by if your on the way to Saginaw, but not to go out of your way for having. Food : 3/5 | Service : 4/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lot … More
The carne guisada had a good flavor but the potatoes were not cooked all the way. The tortillas were store bought and cold. The rice wasn't cooked properly. No one likes crunchy rice. The salsa was ok. The waitress was working way too many tables to be effective but she tried.
