First thing; a Mexican restaurant and no Mexican music playing. Staff was somewhat friendly although, we did receive prompt service. Food was okay, a little bland and the green enchiladas needed way more sauce. The best thing was the salsa serviced with the chips.
Delicious pollo asado. I went during the morning. I was on a road trip and extremely hungry and pulled in their for breakfast and they were very quick. I had a young male server, don't recall his name but he was very fast courteous and polite.
El Rio has been in Boerne for quite some time. We recently went and was such a great change of pace. I haven't been to El Rio in sometime and was surprised how good everything was. Don't forget about visiting if your hungry, food did not take too long to come out, and the staff is friendly and attentive.
