The service definitely left a lot to be desired. It took 20 minutes to even get waters, and the meals didn’t come out for awhile after that. I would say don’t order a bar drink if you’re seated at a table, unless you want it after you’re done eating. The warm chips and salsa were the highlight. We saw our server on her cell phone while another table was trying to get her attention. I would not return with this kind of service unless the food was amazing, and it was just average.

My friends and I grabbed lunch at El Rancho Grande on Saturday. We were greeted and seated immediately. We were one of only two tables in the dining room around 12:30 on Saturday afternoon. Our server was pleasant, but was not at all outgoing. We ordered and the food seemed to take forever. We had all finished our first round of drinks before our food arrived. I had to go to the host stand to ask for refills. The manager and the other server were on their cell phones when I approached. They seemed genuinely bothered by my presence. Our food came out before our drink refills. My order was incorrect. I simply ordered a shredded beef chimichanga ala carte. I order this every time at the El Rancho near my house with no issue. My order arrived with but was the dinner with two chimichangas and rice and beans. The server did not understand that the order was incorrect. I finally just took the plate and was going to eat it.
