Prices are going up, while the service/quality seems to be waning. Last couple times I've gone there, I saw fewer and fewer patrons. Unfortunately the decline seems to affect the staff, who are kind but seem to be distant; the overall vibe and experience is more often depressing than uplifting. Perhaps I unfairly but too much expectation on a Mexican Restaurant dining experience, to me they're supposed to feel like a mini celebration. Its a shame because I live really close, but I will be taking enjoying my dining out elsewhere. The food is tasty, and the margaritas are good. I rarely do this but the Azteca Mexican Restaurant on E. Market is a much better bang for your buck. Great service, great vibes, and fair prices (not the greatest location, but at least there's plenty of free parking).
