food and drinks weren't great, but not terrible. Michael, our server, was extremely pushy, trying to upsell us on drinks and food that we didn't want or need, despite multiple times telling him that we were okay and didn't want them. At the end, he wrote all over the receipt a pushy note and circled and starred the tip that he thought he should recieve. pretty rude, and demonstrates low self-awareness. All in all, probably won't come back.

I never review any restaurants because I just expect them to be good. Not fantastic and not terrible. But I have to review El Porton on Alpharetta Hwy after being their twice now. Simply put, its the best mexican food I have had. Period. Generous portions, good prices and just well cooked, well prepared and very tasty dishes. The margaritas are also excellent and some of the best I have had. Service is great and the restaurant is really very nice in a non-busy area of town. I will go here many more times and hope others do too because both times we have been there, its been largely empty which is shocking given the value and quality of food and service.

One of the place that has never disappointed us. Always top class service, I don't want to talk about an individual but I found that the whole staff was friendly and giving their 100% The food is delicious as always and my personal favorite of Crunchy Taco and Chalupa can be seen. It even goes well with a Michalada. Kid just kept fetching chips and salsa and never had his dinner as he was too full. :) I must try place in Roswell area.
