Stopped in with a group of coworkers for dinner at Athens Greek Restaurant. Despite it’s potential unassuming location, the food was fantastic. I tried the Souvlaki Plate with a black cherry soda. This was my first time trying souvlaki and it tasted great. The meat was tender and flavorful. The sauce on top added a great balance. The plate was served with a hearty salad, pita bread, and fries. No complaints across the board. I came hungry and left stuffed. Good portion side, good value, fast and friendly service. Will return when back in the area.
Best Gyro in Roswell. I've had several other places here but Athens just has the best flavor whatever they season their meat with is amazing and if you're looking for a Gyro to eat. Head to Athens Resturant.
I've been here over the years and they make the best gyros you can't get. The price is very reasonable, however lookout for the hours as they are somewhat limited. The salads are excellent and come with the gyro. For around 10-13$ per person for high quality food it beats any fast food for sure.
