Ordered ground beef tacos from their catering menu. 12 tacos came with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, shells and salsa. The meat didn't have the flavor I was looking for in tacos. Perhaps the food is more satisfying when eating in. This was my first experience so I would suggest others try eating in before ordering something like tacos to go.
El Fenix has the absolute best chips and salsa. I wish I could make mine as good. The salad I got was filling and delicious, the fajitas that my wife got were perfect too. I've never had bad service from any of the El Fenix locations I've been to and the service here is exceptional.
El Fenix has consistently good food, and the Mesquite location has the best, most friendly service of all! Servers are always so friendly and nice. Their chips and salsa are legendary--that's why they sell them at the checkout. Enchilada special on Wednesdays comes out fast and hot. Always a treat to eat here!
