El Big Bad

Really wanted to leave a 3 star review but after reading the replies from the "owner" I'm gonna leave 1. Why set up your staff to fail? Why charge 20% surcharge with no service. Trying to say you are doing it to pay your staff is just an excuse. This place is a bar. Owner needs to be more clear about it. Very poor service. It is clears it is a management/ownership problem. Great concept very poor execution. We had a server but after taking our order she never came back till the end. Again why charge a 20% surcharge if there is no service. Great bartenders, poor management/owner. Food was decent drinks were great but such a poor service experience.

Pretty cool 3 story place with outdoor seating as well. Strong but good margarita. Had a really good burrito and definitely recommend. Whole place has a cool vibe to it. Definitely coming back to try more food soon. Parking can be as it is typical of downtown but shouldn't be too bad.

If you like tequila, you must visit this place. We tried their infused tequila; pineapple, pumpkin and watermelon. All three were delicious. This purple drink has blueberries, cilantro and jalapeño. It’s an odd mix but it works. El Big Bad allows you to taste different infusions; 3 shots for $18. If tequila is not your thing, then don’t worry, they also offer beer. Ambiance wise, it’s like your typical bar. They do have a DJ playing music. Weather permitting, you can also have your drinks out on the patio. Definitely on my list to at least visit once. I hope to come back someday.
