They have a new menu that is a must try! Korean Hot Bird Sandwich! I am from Korea and I knew right away what sauce they used. Normally this is a sauce that is used on Spicy Korean Rice Cakes that are made on the griddle, sold on the streets of Korea. It brought me back to times that I lived in Korea, buying them off the streets! Thank you Egg N Bird for bringing back good memories! Korean slaw that is in the sandwich is different from their original bird sandwich but it tastes very fresh and hits right on the spot in the mouth and in the stomach. My wife and I have become a regular to Egg N Bird and it was really nice to see new special menu items. Korean Hot Sandwich is definitely a hit. If you have not tried it, you must. My wife also got the Korean Hot Style Chicken on top of the fries and we could not stop our hands from going to it constantly. Take a look at the delicious food photos below~! Dine-in and Patio is open too now, so you can take your family and hang out for a good m
Just tried the chicken plate with slaw and Mac on the side. Chicken is good but would love to get a bit more pieces. The slaw and Mac is really sour (acidic). The amount of Chicken can't cut through the acidity which seeps to the bed of rice. So the rice is kinda acidic too. For a to go or delivery, maybe less rice and more chicken.
With the name as it is, I expected few more sandwiches to come with egg rather than an upcharge to add it. There were a few unique sandwich combinations, but they all featured 2 chicken strips rather than a whole breast. I prefer the latter. They are easier to handle in a sandwich. They also all came on Brioche buns. The sweetness is a little off putting when you order the Banh mi style. I understand Brioche is one of the hallmarks of a chicken sandwich these days, but I don't always need sweet with my savory.
