The brisket, collard greens and rice with gravy is so so good. And the Chef Craig, the new executive chef, made a custom bloody Mary that included a piece of brisket on top. Chef made us coffee from his own private stash. Excellent! And the corn bread, to die for

Delicious food and great service. We walked in to place a takeout order. The wait was shorter than expected. The ribs were delicious, tender and very flavorful. The brisket was good too. The “hot” BBQ sauce we got on the side was a hit as has the potato salad and baked beans. We will definitely return.

I was looking for a new spot and give this spot a try. I ordered the whiting platter for myself, catfish platter for my husband and smoked wings for the kids. My whiting platter was supposed to be 3 pieces, as you can see from the picture, one piece isn’t even a full piece. It seems like they gave me all they had left instead of saying they didn’t have any more. It tasted old and not hot. My husband didn’t even finish his meal because everything was too salty. My son was the only that enjoyed his meal of smoked wings. Sad to say I will have to now make dinner because we are still hungry and weren’t happy with our platters. The Mac & Cheese had no flavor and the greens were salty. I only gave it 2 stars based on the smoked wings since my son ate them. No one else enjoyed their meals. This was a waste of time, money and effort.
