Eddie V's Prime Seafood

This place deserves 10 stars, the service was outstanding and ambient was perfect. The food was remarkable, the calamari appetizer was one of the best I've had in a long time. The ribeye was very well prepared and cooked to my taste. The Mrs and I had a red dragon mojito, alcohol drinks are mixed to perfection. So happy with my birthday celebration at this restaurant! My husband loves seafood, I only eat meat. This place offered the best of both! The signature cocktail is delicious, the seafood is wonderful, and the streak... Oh, the steak! It's hard to put a twist on it, but this place managed to surprise me with the parmesan horseradish crust. Wonderful twist that kept things interesting. The only part we didn't like was the lobster mash that was just too salty. Otherwise - wonderful meal, well worth the price!

We have never been to Eddie V’s before. We were in San Diego for a certain event and decided to walk up and see if we could get a table. We had to come back in a hour and we were seated in the bar area but we walked up! If you know you are going to a restaurant make a reservation. Since we were seated in the bar area, there was a jazz trio/ quartet that was excellent. My husband ordered the caviar appetizer and was very happy. The truffle Mac and cheese came with shaved black truffles on top. I had the warm goat cheese and arugula salad and the scallops with citrus as my For the dessert my husband had the molten chocolate cake and I had cream brûlée that came with two chocolate chocolate chip cookies. The desserts were great. I would go back for dessert and the live entertainment. However the restaurant was not very accommodating if you have a food allergies.
