Earthen Restaurant

Decent Taiwanese food in Hacienda Heights area. I understand this is a go to Taiwanese restaurant for the locals. I too like their food. We ordered 3 dishes that included egg plant, pot stickers, and a mushu pork. The first twos were very tasty and flavorful, but the mushu pork was a bit bland with no taste. Normally this dish should have plenty of hoisin sauce but it seemed like they were very stingy on the sauce. Besides the above three dishes, the restaurant seems to offer many popular Taiwanese food. So if you have a craving for Taiwanese food, this is a place that should be able to satisfy you needs. The reason I gave this a three stars because the service is terrible. The two girls there were very rude. Our patronage was seen as an inconvenience for them. When we asked for the menu, they didn’t even acknowledge our existing, we were transparent to them. Since Yelp decided to take down my review now years later, which I had on for years and had warned all my family and friends.???? One star is too nice they should have a no star option. Do NOT support Earthen Restaurant in Hacienda Heights. My family used to be such loyal supporters of this restaurant. My mom had spent at least over a thousand dollars as devoted customers since we thought their food was good. We would bring family and friends here but NO LONGER. The staff there is SHADY and has very poor management. I have no idea why it took my mom so long to tell me this story. My mom had taken my Ah Gong (grandpa) and my aunt and uncle there one day for meal. So my mom went to pay the bill, which was a little over $32 with a hundred dollar bill. The staff then had the audacity to tell my mom that she only gave them a twenty-dollar bill. My mom was positive that she gave them a $100, which my aunt also verified. Eating at Earthen Cafe was definitely an amazing experience! We decided to try out this new restaurant! Def worth the try! My family loved the beef wraps and the beef noodle soup. Both were packed with flavor! The portions were perfect to share with the fam and have extra to take home!
