This was one of my most favorite dining experiences. We live on the east coast and to have a view of the ocean with waves crashing on the rocks just outside the window was absolutely mesmerizing. My daughter's hot pot was too salty which she noticed after eating all the mussels in the dish. The waiter did not question her opinion when she mentioned the saltiness to him and immediately offered to bring her another dish. The Ahi Tuna plate was a winner. Our server was so pleasant and encouraged us to relax and linger to continue enjoying the view. We even bought Duke's T's as a reminder of our fabulous experience. Will definitely be back.
Service and view were phenomenal. Very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful overall experience. We rated the food 4/5 because we felt the sauce on the steak was too mild but the steak was great. Wish there were more asparagus stalks with it. Fish and chips were good but have had tastier fries. Pie was yummy - but tasted like typical ice cream pie (tasted more like vanilla ice cream than macadamia nut). Hummus plate was very good. Parking is valet ($12 on day we went), but there is also free street parking. Parking: Parking is valet ($12 on day we went), but there is also free street parking.
They had a special for "Dine LA" where we eat got to order an appetizer, entree, and dessert for a good price. The food is delicious and filling. The fish, pork, and chicken were all delicious. You definitely need to save room for dessert because the hula pie is something to share!! Great spot to visit for a late lunch or early dinner after a day at the Getty Villa. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurant space, menu, and staff. Parking: Big and spacious lot.
