3 stars because it should be illegal to call it “lobster Mac and cheese” ($20). More like a couple of lobster bits if you’re able to even find it. Didn’t even have a lobster taste. The 5 microscopic pieces of red you see in the photo is the “lobster” in case you were also wondering where it was located - there wasn’t any additional pieces either. What you see is what I got. However, the charbroiled oysters ($31 per dozen) were delicious and worth the hype! I would only come back for the oysters. Saw someone ordered the house salad .. wouldn’t waste your $ on it - nothing to talk about. The Asian guy at the bar was nice and all the bar people seemed overworked for a early Thursday afternoon. The hostess sat everyone at the bar areas (not sure why when over half the restaurant was empty), but apparently that’s all they had available? Don’t overwork your people when you have 4-5 hostess and waiters standing around because no one is being seat at the tables. Again, not sure if they were ex

I’m torn on this review. I think had we gone to the original restaurant, our experience would have been different. The place was crowded, so we ate at the bar. We had intended to take our time and order a couple rounds of drinks but our food came out in 5 minutes and once our food came, the bartender gave us our bill. We had planned on ordering another round of drinks and a sweet treat, but we were rushed out. The lobster Mac was dry and had very few pieces of lobster. The boudin balls were very odd, a mushy texture. The oysters lacked flavor which that seems impossible since there was butter and cheese.

Came here late on a Sunday, and I got a great server. She was attentive and suggested great dishes. Their signature Oysters were bomb. Can probably convert some non-believers. Everyone suggested the Seafood Pasta, and you definitely can not go wrong with it. Make sure to walk the waterfront afterwards!
