Dots Diner - near Ochsner

We have eaten at two Dot's Diners so far and we haven't been disappointed. Upon walking into the dining area, it's everything you would expect; clean, no overcrowding, spacious and a pleasant atmosphere and no loud/rap music. The waitress was very professional and took care of our every need from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. My son had a meat omelette breakfast with all the fixings and I had a chef salad with grilled chicken. I had to get a to-go box for my salad that's how large it was. I wish there was a Dot's diner on the West Bank.

Stopped by on vacation. The absolute best omelette I have ever had!!!! The biscuits were amazing!!! They are such friendly people as well. The cook came over to ask if it was good, and was super friendly. Sweet tea is on point also. Was stuffed but HAD to get the apple pie with icecream! Pure peice of heaven! Take the time to stop and grab a bite for sure!

I order a fried fish and shrimp plate.. It came as you see.. with 5 fried shrimp and side of fish cut in half.. $14.99 plus a $1.29 extra for sweet potatoes fries.. The plate came and I was surly disappointed.. I told the server and she got and Attitude with me. And told me that the cook went through all this trouble to cook it for me and I'm just going to send it back. And she was like you ordered so.. Your gona pay for it.. And after that it was like pulling teeth for her to service the other two people.. I was dinning with.. The slices of garlic toast are bigger then my pieces of fried fish.. Next time just do better take a moment and see it from the customer point of view..
