Don Lencho's Mexican & Seafood Restaurant

This the best place in Peoria that I've found for authentic and affordable Mexican food. My family and I tried this place out last night and we were so impressed. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated and clean. We will be returning in the future.

Two people for Sunday late lunch. I had chorizo and scrambled eggs. The chorizo, eggs and tortillas were not very good. My Wife had chilie relleno which she said was good. There you go batting 50%. I will not be back.

I ate here a few years ago and the food was AMAZING. However, my wife and I had lunch here a few days ago and the food was not what I remembered at all. It was actually quite bland. Maybe it was just the dish I had or maybe the cook had a bad day, either way it was not worth what I paid per plate. On the other hand, the service was PERFECT! The waitress was very quick to get our drinks and take our food orders. The food came quick and was hot. And she kept checking in on us ( not too much) to make sure that our food was good and our drinks were full. After all of this, I will more than likely visit Don Lenchos again, knowing that the food has the potential to be great, and the staff is really good at they're job.
