Rated as 3-1/2 to 4 stars (6 months ago a solid 5+). I used to live in the area so Dirty Franks was a go to place for us. I was back in town about 6 months ago, had a Cowgirl and a Chicago. Both just as I remembered and great as always. Between then and now (see the pics - two dogs pic was from 6 months ago, single dog was from yesterday), the dogs have gotten a lot smaller. I noticed it as soon as it was delivered to the bar where I usually sit. Don't get me wrong, still nice dogs but much smaller and skimpier on the toppings. What gives Dirty Frank's? Did y'all change your suppliers? Different management or owners? I would rather have the old dogs and pay a bit more, but maybe not everyone feels the same. I'll eat there again, but will be a little less excited.
Loved how many options their menu has!! It has vegetarian and vegan options as well. The restaurant is located in downtown Columbus and the parking is not free, but the service is fast so it shouldn’t take more than 1 hour. We went there for lunch and I ordered “The Old Faithful” with a veggie dog and a side of tots. You could just tell that they changed their frying oil often because the tots tasted amazing.
