Fantastic Greek food in sleepy Los Gatos, CA, 60+ miles from San Francisco, where you may expect this unassuming Greek restaurant within a boutique hotel. Nevertheless it does not disappoint. As a first generation Greek American, I can tell you this restaurant does trendy upscale Greek dining as good as anyone in the USA or even Mykonos for that matter. The food is impeccable, service outstanding, and they survived and thrived the pandemic with multiple Greek employees sticking around. Saganaki is amazing as is the Octopus, the Lamb Chops, and Greek "Horiatiki" Salad. Yassou!
Fabulous Greek food - probably the best I’ve ever tasted, even in Greece! Their pita bread made me not want to ever eat anyone else’s again - it’s just so much better than what you normally get. And I highly recommend enjoying it with the “Assortment of Spreads” which includes tzatziki, hitipiti and tirokafteri, all of which were delectable. I also had the Horiatiki Village Salad with an added grilled chicken skewer and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was also very good in a beautiful well spaced out dining area.
We celebrated our Anniversary here and we didn’t tell them until our dinner was over when one of the owners came by and we got to chatting. We unintentionally shared that it was our anniversary and they thanked us for celebrating with them. Then they shocked us with such a nice dessert treat and dessert wine. We couldn’t eat it cause we were full and already ordered 2 desserts. But the generosity and thought was simply heart warming. They went above and beyond our expectations for the night. We thoroughly enjoyed ALL of our dishes and the wonderful server Jacopo. We knew the food would be great since my husband has catered their food for his team before. He didn’t expect the food to be even more excellent dining in. So make sure you dine in! The whole fish (Dorade) was well seasoned and creamy textured. Super delicious and can serve 2 people in my opinion. I had 1/4 of it since I was stuffed with the appetizer and their delicious pita spread combo. We will be back for sure! A true gem
