Fried chicken was good (just as good as home) the 4 stars was because no seasoning on chicken but the chicken was still good. That mac n cheese was fantastic. We bought a whole coconut pie (comes from house of pies) was the best. Cute little place and the restaurant score is an A.
This place feels like home! I love the way the dining room is decorated. It feels like something out of my childhood. It's just so darn cozy. Their fried Chicken is outstanding! I also love their biscuits, butter, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, fruit mellow salad, pineapple coleslaw, however their lemonade needed a little more sugar last time I was there. They have family deals and packages you can put together to simplify ordering on a busy night. I love going here and can't wait to have my next meal here.
