Diego’s Cantina

Was looking for a new (to me) place with gluten free options and stumbled upon Diego's Cantina. The PDF version of the menu on their website doesn't mark everything as gluten free, but it says at the bottom that everything except a couple of options is gluten free. The menu that they have in the restaurant (accessed with a QR code) has the gluten free options labelled (you have to open to see the full description of the food). Staff seemed knowledgeable about gluten free. I'm also dairy free and got the chicken enchiladas (without cheese) and I really enjoyed them. My friend ordered their hibiscus margarita and said it was very good. To hit on some of the things other reviewers have mentioned: the ambiance is great, the salsa is not. The chips are good (and gluten free). Would definitely go back!

Food was delicious! Our server was polite and helpful to us first-timers! The atmosphere was intimate! Had the hibiscus Margareta and it hit the spot!

Very cool spot. I liked the interior design and artwork. They have a vegan menue too which made the experience even better. It was pretty loud on a Friday night, but there was just a lot of energy. Would like to go back to try more of their vegan items. I really nice surprise was the drink. They make an old fashioned with añejo patrón instead of bourbon. It was really good. Could definitely go there just for the drinks. Very nice tequila list as well. They had flights that I would like to go back and try as well. Well done!
