Ordered takeout on a Saturday afternoon. Place was dead maybe 2 tables of people eating a late lunch. Food was done in a timely matter approx 20 mins from ordering. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the expectations and the other reviews I have seen. Ordered egg drop soup to start, it was ok a little flavorless and wish it had a little garnish or something. I also got the Chicken Lettuce Wraps Or Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps and was extremely disappointed. Was very wet and soggy and had a bunch of peas in it. Never have I ever gotten regular green peas in a lettuce wrap. Vegetarian fried rice was lackluster as well. Had absolutely no flavor and the same dreaded frozen bag of peas and carrots with an overwhelming amount of beansprouts. Overall disappointed and left with a flavorless ( seriously no salt or pepper ??) oily lunch. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options
The food here is always delicious and doesn't take long to come out after you order. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is usually not packed and when they do get busy, they space the tables out nicely.
Tonight was our first time trying this restaurant after hearing over the years how good the food is. THEY WERE WRONG. I can't describe exactly HOW it was bad.... but it was really not good. Bland/unseasoned chicken and watered down soup just don't do it for me. We couldn't eat most of our meals. Will not be trying again.
