The food was ok. I had the fig and blue cheese steak. The steak was good but I'm not sure what the fries were.. a little soggy.. being a hot day, I should have opted for something more refreshing. A little too pricey for the quality.
The mac and cheese with chicken is the BEST. The tuna poke appetizer is a favorite, too. Love the zucchini bread in the bread basket. The food is unwaveringly good year after year. The staff are kind and the squad has been together for many years--a good sign. I'm always a little start-struck when Chef comes around--he is caring and approachable. I hope to do a cooking class soon. Favorite restaurant in LA.
Outstanding food and service. It's always nice when the Chef comes to your table and make sure everything was cooked to your liking. First time we ever ate there. It will not be my last. Strongly recommend!!
