Denny's

The new restaurant is great, workers friendly, same great food but talk about sticker shock. Went for breakfast the other day, saw a TV show & the were having pancakes with berry syrup & thought, hey, that be great, don't have to cook & could go for some berry syrup haven't had for a long time, have not been to the newly opened Dennys yet in 4 mo. Sat down, got the menue & everything started at $14 except for the sides & 1 or 2 items. Even the breakfast slams. Last time in I had lots of choices from 1.99 to 7.99. So had to ask for value menue, there we go, standard value slam 5.99 maybe a burger under 10 bucks, baskets n gravy under 10. Got my food pretty quick, cut my bacon with my fork & boom, so hard half of it jumped right down on the ground, great, no 5 second rule here! Also no berry syrup, no maple syrup. Just hi fructose buttery syrup. Yep sticker shock, sorry I don't get breakfast often for 20bucks, just a no in my book. Milk, juce, coffee, soda, all 4 bucks. Really? You kidd

My wife and I have been best friends and married 35 years. She used to travel with me a lot and Denny's was always the place we liked to have breakfast on Saturday mornings. Every week it seemed like we'd be in another Denny's, in another city, enjoying each other, great food, and great service. We live close to this location and watched with excitement as they were building it, knowing that soon we'd have a Denny's two blocks away. We were there for the Grand Opening...the first customers...and Sara and Tammie and the staff were amazing for us that day and several more times after that. Then my wife got very ill. She was rushed to the hospital where she remained for over a week. During that time, I would visit for sometimes 12 hours and would be just exhausted when I got home. The Denny's staff found out and reached out to us, bringing food to me when I would get home after long days in the hospital. I remember one particular night, I was in so much anguish and was just totally spent.

Food ain't bad at all, but ours came slightly under seasoned. Y'all need to have some seasoning salt on the table, don't care if it's Lawry's or Johnny's just get some seasonin' salt. Was better after adding a little salt and pepper.
