Serrano's Mexican Food Restaurants

The best Mexican food. We drive all the way from north phoenix (sweetwater and cave creek) to eat here. This bean dip is the best too.

Horchata was terrible. I had to request a different drink. When we paid our bill our waitress didn't bring extra copies of my credit card receipt. The receipt that shows the breakdown of everything was also not brought back with my credit card. Right away we noticed the bill was way off. By about 42$to be exact. When I questioned them and spoke with the manager they were reluctant to get the receipt. Long story short they had to refund the 107$ bill and then charged my card for the correct amount. This didn't seem to be an honest mistake. The waitress initially completely ignored me when I tried to stop her to ask about my receipts. This definitely didn't seem like it was a first time issue. I felt the need to write my total down very largely on my credit card slip and draw lines through the zeros to ensure the waitress wouldn't give herself a tip. Had never eaten there before. Food was pretty good. Pretty spicy for me. I got a couple of shredded beef tacos found some onions which was a little rough I don't like onions. Little overdone on the lettuce could have saved a few vegetables that way. The whole plate was just piled high and nothing but lettuce pretty much and very little cheese. Otherwise good flavor. Seem to only have Pepsi products. Chips were tasty.
