Denny's

I would give this place a -0 if possible as my family and I attempted to dine at this Denny’s numerous of times only because it’s the only restaurant that be open and Haines City and after two other attempts we said we’re not coming back today we decided let’s just go what could possibly go wrong server told us ahead of time there’s only one cook which is understandable a lot of restaurants are struggling with employees but additional to that which is not a problem their server literally had three table tops to take care of she cannot remember to bring a salad before the meal even if the meal took that long she brought the food and my daughters nachos; which is basically nachos, throw some meat on top, cheese sauce and salsa and sour cream came about 20 minutes after our food she forgot the salad entirely even after mentioning oh yeah and she forgot I asked her to take it off but the worst part is a cockroach crawling on the table by the time my daughter got her nachos. I had a T-bone. I've had this at Waffle House (vacuum-sealed in a marinade) and it was great. At Denny's the steak was almost artificial in texture. I asked for it medium-well but it was well done in most places, with RAW meat near the bone. I didn't complain. There was only one waitress and she was very nice. She seemed to know most of the people who came in. I'm new to Haines City so it was my first late night at the Denny's. The atmosphere is very good. The interior seems practically new. The employees do come out and help each other bus tables when time permits. I will go back. They were out of the Panookie (big chocolate chip cookie cooked in a small cast iron pan and covered with vanilla ice cream). That's something I go to Denny's for regularly. Vegetarian options: I think they have some Kid-friendliness: They have a decent kids' menu Parking: Plenty of parking, though this is a truck stop location so be careful. Steak & eggs were delicious & my son loved his meal as well! Kristine our server was great!
