Denny's

Food was good enough - after all, it's Denny's. Expectations have to be realistic. Our server was okay, though I thought the coffee refills were a little slow to come at $3.69/cup. I hadn't realized drip coffee had become quite that expensive. The biggest issue was after meal. Our server said "pay up front" when she gave us the check, so we went up front to pay. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. We were being expertly ignored. They didn't want our money, I guess. The same guy walked right past us at least half a dozen times but couldn't be bothered to either take our payment or even get someone else to do it. The gal who was ignoring us was a little better than the dude; she only refused to acknowledge us 3 times. I honestly felt like just leaving (maybe then we would've gotten their attention) but I couldn't do that. I mean, if they literally couldn't ring up the sale, they should've at least rounded up someone who could. We called out for help a couple times, but the

Fantastic service from Jelina. A smile and obvious warm personality goes a loooooong way. I only grabbed coffee to do some work but I felt like a real $20 customer! Seriously, just to repeat for effect, a smile goes a long way. But that 2hour wifi limit (sign posted!) is odd. Odd in like how Costco recreates the late '30s Germany mindset with checking everyone's paperz... I get maybe it's there for "issues" but it's also a reminder in some way that I probably shouldn't be spending my mornings at a Denny's. At least this one. Did I mention the Hostess and the smile thing?

The food was served raw the brisket was a very red and the smell of spoiled meat was covered up by sauce and seasoning. The nachos where just generally unappetizing and look disgusting
