Lucky someone recommended me this place! I ordered the tenders and the 1/2 fried chicken with fries and coleslaw, loved the tenders, they were juicy and the flavor was perfect! The chicken is superior to most fried chicken you can get in the area, the biscuits were perfection. The fries and coleslaw were good too! The staff is friendly and I loved the vibes of the dining room, it feels like you are eating in a southern home from a movie, staff is friendly, will be coming back soon!
This is a nice place to stop to see Route 66 memorabilia and take some pictures. As far as the food; I had the chicken and corn fritters, it's ok. The staff is friendly. I ordered a carryout. Took about an hour.
I heard so many great stories about this place and I was pleased with the overall experience. I called ahead and placed an order for the chicken basket. When I arrived, was greeted warmly and my food was ready. The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy. Fries were cold and soggy, cold slaw was runny.
