Delicias de España Dadeland

Our waiter was so kind, attentive and helpful. The market had a great selection of goodies! The juice was the freshest my partner had ever had. The cafecito was smooth. Every bite was worth it. We picked up a mango mousse after and it was wonderful. Best breakfast I’ve had in a while.

Years ago I dined at one of their restaurants and went crazy with this dessert: Soufflé Delicias. I liked it so much that I bought a whole one several times to take to family parties. Yesterday I was running errands around there and decided to stop by for lunch. The main dish did not seem like anything to write home about, and from the texture and the speed with which it was served I could bet that it was already made and they heated it in the microwave. But the big disappointment was the soufflé. Tasteless and too watery. It fell apart when serving it but they gave it to me anyway. I have to say that the server was very nice. FYI: Even on weekends it closes at 5pm, which is a red flag for me. The decadence of this place is so evident that I’m afraid the end is coming. I hope I’m wrong.

Always great food. I usually take out. Galician bread is yummy. Chorizo omelette is a must. Parking: Paid parking
