Del Taco

There bright idea when there is old hockey puck hard beans is not make fresh ones, just add a little water and stir the chunks around. 1:40 pm. Gross!

When we first got there,there was only one other car ahead of us. Within two minutes of us pulling up to the window there was a line of 7 or 8 cars behind us. We had a fairly large order, about $30 worth, and the lady at the window seemed a bit flustered by the sudden rush. The Dr pepper we received was flat and she quickly got us a replacement lemonade, but then didn't get us our pear popper drink we had ordered. I reminded her we still hadn't received it when she handed us our food ten minutes later and she told us there was a big line behind us. Not sure why that mattered. She gave us a regular when we had paid for a large, but I didn't say anything because she seemed overwhelmed and annoyed. It took about 15 minutes to get our food, we were missing the guac on a couple of items and the Carne Asada fries were a bit cold but other than that everything was decent enough.

There were no customers in the dining room. Dining room was dirty. Had to wipe food out of a chair to sit down. Cashier was slow. We ordered 2 bean burritos, a chips and Queso, donut holes and a 3 layer nachos. Chips and donut holes tasted like old grease. Apparently they don’t change the fryer oil out very often. Beans were dry and too thick. Hardly any cheese on 3 layer nachos. I used to work for Del Taco in Texas back in the day. My old manager would have had fits. Would not recommend.
