Del Taco

In my opinion, Del Tacos food is significantly better than their competitors. So many items are made fresh each day vs. coming out of a plastic bag and simply being warned up. With that said, this location could really work on their service. Only once out of the 4 times I've been here have they gotten my order correct, and it's not like I'm ordering complicated things. Oftentimes, the wrong food ends up in my bag and/or I'm missing items. Additionally, their engagement with customers in general feels short and rushed even when the place is empty. Thankfully, their food is decent for what it is and reasonably priced.

I got 10 chicken soft tacos to go...no lettuce. Great price on the tacos, very upbeat happy people that were preparing them, but I only gave 2 stars because the girl taking my order could NOT have been MORE UNFRIENDLY if she tried!!! I tried to make friendly conversation with her, even commented about how great the price was....and.......nothing. Like, imagine yourself trying hard to be friendly to someone, and they make it CLEAR that your friendliness is very much unwanted.....that was this cashier/order taker!

I waited in an empty drive through line for five minutes at 8:45 a.m. Nobody took my order. I decided to go into the restaurant and there was one other customer in there. We both waited for five minutes and the other customer said he hadn't seen anyone since he came in. We both decided to leave. 10 minutes or more seems excessive even with a shortage in staff without even acknowledging your customers. I drove across the street to Whataburger and they served me right away.
