Food, Staff and atmosphere is Amazing!!! I'm from NYC live in Texas and travel for work and this is 1 of my top five Jamaican restaurants I've Ever eaten If you are ever in Chicago make it a must
I want start by talking about the excellent customer service we were given at this restaurant. The staff working at De-Jred are the most welcoming, friendliest people I ever encounter at any restaurant. The older lady that was helping us was very friendly, warm-hearted and super helpful. Since it was our first time trying Jamaican food, she explained the different items off the menu and made recommendations. I had Ackee & Saltfish which is Jamaica's national dish. I really liked that dish especially the plantains. You guys rock. Love your restaurant.
Just wow! Dining here felt like I was at someone’s house enjoying a spectacular meal. Today we had their tasty platter and their brown stew chicken, we will definitely return and try other items in their menu!
