De Fazio's

This pizza was amazing, the dough, cheese and sauce were all extremely tasty. With an airy crust to top it off. Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had with a fantastic environment and pleasant employees.

Defazios has gone downhill in the pizza quality since they opened a second store. I don't know what happened, but the last 3-4 pizzas I've ordered have been way, way too heavy on the cheese and not like the Defazios I know and love at all! It pains me to see them do the same thing that every other pizza place in the area does and sell pizza that has so much cheese on it that it's basically just white with tiny spots of red. If you're a pizza lover like I am, you will agree that a Pizza with so much cheese that it's primarily white (instead of a healthy, diverse white/red mix, like the surface of mars) is borderline Not Pizza, but hopefully they turn things around before they start selling Not Pizza instead of pizza.

I finally made it, I planned ahead by calling earlier in the day for an evening pickup. The people that work there are super nice, busy but totally organized. I had the vegan margarita pizza. I am impressed how large their vegan options are, very commendable! The dough was fluffy and had the tasty charcoal flavor on the edges. Some reviews that their pizza was greasy, but not this one at all, actually it felt like it could a bit more moisture. While I was there I also took home the eggplant parmigiana over their home made linguine and that is very good too. Definitely will go back there again.
