Must Try Dishes
At Datz in Tampa, Florida, you must try the St. Petersburger which is a fan-favorite juicy burger topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and DatZ sauce. Other must-try dishes include the Cheesy Todd, an inventive twist where the "buns" are actually two large mac n cheese patties. Also, the Monkey Bread, a sweet pull-apart dough tossed in cinnamon sugar and served with cream cheese frosting, is a perfect ending for the meal. Don't miss out on their Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos for a zesty treat!

Very fun place to eat! The menu is big and some very unique items. The wings and pretzel stick were both excellent. My wife and I each had burgers and then we ordered the hot chicken served on a donut to try. Great burgers, the chips with the dressing are a great compliment. The hot chicken donut was good but glad I didn’t order it as my only dish. They also own the bakery next door called Dough which we actually bought dessert from but brought back to Datz bc the wait staff was much more fun
After hearing people rave about this iconic landmark, I decided to go and have lunch. It was a Friday afternoon around 3. A total of 7 people in the restaurant and it still took 15 minutes to get a menu, 20 minutes to order and 45 minutes to get drinks and food. To much time spent here with unfriendly staff and awful cold, overpriced food. Nothing less than 1 star, unfortunately, because I could have spent my time and money elsewhere.
Would be more like 3.5. The server and ambience was really pretty and there is a cute outdoor area. Ordered the cheese grits and burnt ends. The grits were tasty and the beef was okay but seemed like it was cubed beef than actual burnt ends. My sis let me try her chicken and waffles and the waffles were good but it seems like seasoning was completely skipped on the chicken.
